Asurion
May 2023 - Present
Tech Lead
Asurion is the biggest tech insurance company in the world with more than 200 million users (E.g. of biggest customers: Amazon, AT&T & Verizon). I work on revamping the claims technology (and launched new tools for clients like Verizon, Claro and Google) across North and South America. We used a mix of cutting-edge tech, cloud solutions, and data analysis to boost performance. Plus, I spearheaded AI initiatives to fight fraud and build helpful chatbots, making claims faster and requiring less support calls.
CATT Lab
May 2019 - April 2023
Software and Data Engineer Lead
I worked on amazing products involving Big Data and Vision Learning applied to transportation. My role went beyond the technical part. I worked closely between clients and the engineering team and set the product directions. I realized that I am a big picture person and wanted to contribute beyond the technical side - I also wanted to excel on the business size.
Verizon
June 2022 - August 2022
MBA Intern - Product Manager
I joined the Gaming and Entertainment team. I worked more on the strategy and ideation side. As my final project, I created a proposed strategy and an MVP solution for the Metaverse and NFT space. I had the chance to present it to the Chief Revenue Officer!
Code&Play

Founder and CEO
I love entrepreneurship. I was also working during evenings and weekends on my startup, which I founded and raised capital. After being a CS teacher volunteer, I saw the opportunity to start Code&Play - an online coding platform for K-12. It was one of my most valuable experiences so far (I consider it just as valuable as any of my academic degrees). I learned so much!

When started my Master of Eng., and I also started this job. Here I got my first shot at AI/ML and owning an MVP product. It was great! I was tasked to develop an MVP using AI/ML to provide maintenance predictions. I got to develop it from scratch, and go beyond the technical side.
